Casanova is truly black, he will not fade out in sun. After being a stallion for 5 years he was gelded in 2008 so we didn’t have to keep all the horses separate and to help Kate keep her horse numbers down. His sire, The Grand Collection, was a three time International Champion and two time Sire of the Year.  His dam is Baron's Bleu Gold, 2002 International Champion and Montana Versatility Champion.  "Nova" has a calm sweet disposition and is a very quick learner.  He is beautiful under saddle an outstanding trail mount and is broke to the cart and loving it.  He has been camping in the Bob Marshal Wilderness, and also went to work with Kate at the Forest Service leading Mules and clearing trails.  He has done very well Team Sorting cows and is also looking like he may be a Cowboy Mounted Shooting Horse!  See Coal his 2008 grey foal that inherited his awesome disposition and that will replace him as a breeding stallion.
